‘What story have you made up for me today?’

my father would ask, as he collected me from kindergarten.
This treasured routine we shared gradually became the very essence of my life's path – the art of storytelling.

I had the privilege of studying the art of storytelling under the guidance of Emmy-award winner Sergei Miroshnichenko
in the documentary directing class of the Russian State University of Cinematography.

The culmination of my studies was the creation of my thesis film 'Given in Exchange',
which shed light on the lives of women who faced the heart-wrenching decision to part ways with their child after childbirth.
The film became the first-ever Russian recipient of the CILECT Documentary Prize by the International Association
of Film and Television Schools in Los Angeles.

My first feature-length documentary 'Spirit in Motion' chronicled the inspiring journeys of seven athletes
from diverse backgrounds and continents who participated in the Sochi 2014 Winter Paralympics.
The International Paralympic Committee, headquartered in Germany,
recognized its powerful impact and honored it as the official movie of the Paralympic games –
a historic first for the Paralympic movement.

In the observational documentary 'Phenoms. Russia' I had been working on for 3 years in collaboration with 21st Century Fox,
I followed the captivating trajectory of up-and-coming soccer players on their journey to the national team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The film was widely distributed on Fox, Sky, National Geographic, as well as Hulu and Amazon Prime.
