The film tells stories of resilience and the will to live of people from different
nationalities and backgrounds, united by the desire to surpass not only others, but
also themselves at the 2014 Paralympic Games in Sochi.
These documentary stories of athletes are interwoven with artistic animation
created in a variety of techniques.
The International Paralympic Committee (Bonn, Germany) granted the film the
status of the official film of the 11th Winter Paralympics in Sochi. This marked
the first time in the more than half-century history of the Paralympic movement
that such a status was conferred.
